Everything Your Journal Does,
in One Panel
From submission and peer review to issue management, DOI registration and index compliance, the system that brings every stage of academic publishing together: PubliJournal
PubliJournal is compatible with all national and international indexing systems and identity infrastructure.
What Is PubliJournal?
A journal management system that brings everything from submission to archive and index compliance into one place, installed on your own server.
Everything stays on the record
Who was invited when, who decided what, which file arrived at what time: all written under the article. Editors change; the history does not disappear.
The system chases late work
Reminders go out before a reviewer's deadline, on the day, and after it. You do not have to follow anyone up by hand.
You see index gaps in advance
The fields indexes ask for are checked one by one. "This article has no English abstract" comes to you as a list, and you fill it in from the same screen.
DOIs and harvesting come ready
A published article enters the DOI queue automatically, and the infrastructure indexes need to read your journal by machine is there from day one.
Your data stays on your server
The system is installed on your own domain and hosting. Author details, referee reports and full texts are never held by us.
Your back issues move with you
The archive is migrated from a spreadsheet or from your current site. You do not start from an empty shelf.
Things You Will Not Find Elsewhere
What sets PubliJournal apart from similar software. Above all, it was developed together with academics and solves the real needs of academic publishing.
Build the issue PDF without going back to Word
Cover, masthead, running header, page numbers: the system sets all of it. You pick one of eleven layout templates, edit the article text in the panel, and the full issue PDF comes out. A single article's proof is produced from the same place.
Proofs wait for the author, with a deadline
The proof goes to the author with a reply date; reminders go out automatically one day before and on the day. Until the author approves or the deadline passes, the proof cannot be changed and the article cannot move to "Ready for Print". Authors only ever see the latest proof sent to them.
Title and abstract update with the revision, every change on record
Authors update the article details together with the revised file; editors can correct them until publication. Every change is a version: the editor sees exactly what changed, reviewers see only the content changes, so blind review stays blind. If the details change after typesetting, the system flags the proof as out of date.
A list of exactly what is missing, article by article
The system scans every article and tells you plainly: "No English abstract here." "Conflict of interest statement missing." You fix it from the same screen.
Author traces are stripped before the file reaches a reviewer
Names, e-mail addresses, affiliations and acknowledgements in the Word file are found and removed once you approve. The reviewer gets a clean copy. No manual deleting.
Fill one field across eighty articles on one screen
Pick whatever is missing (say the English abstract) and every article lines up underneath. You tab down the column instead of opening eighty article screens.
Better Shown Than Described

A journal's public face and its review workflow are separate jobs, and can be bought separately. The first year is a setup fee; later years are renewal only.
Your journal's website, archive, metadata fields and index compliance. The best fit for journals that already have a system for handling manuscripts but want a more modern, attractive, professional and user-friendly website.
Your academic journal's entire workflow in a single package: journal website, user accounts, manuscript submission, peer review and publication. Whether you are a new journal or have been publishing for years, PubliJournal lets you run every process in line with national and international publishing standards.
Your journal already has a website and you are happy with it. But if you still handle submissions and peer review through email attachments or outdated legacy systems, this package is made for you. Keep your current website as it is, and we will add an integrated "Manuscript Review System" to it.
